Top-grain cowhide with a crocodile emboss. Structured. Two ways to carry.
A crocodile-embossed cowhide bag with a gold turn-lock, built on a firm frame that stands upright on its own. The scale pattern is cut large and soft-edged so it catches light rather than shining, and the handles, belt and trim are smooth grained leather set against it. Quiet enough for a white tee and jeans. Structured enough for the room you're walking into.
What you'll notice first
The leather. Top-grain cowhide, the outer layer of the hide, embossed with a deep crocodile scale across the front, back and sides. Top-grain is the part that softens instead of peeling.
Two finishes, one bag. Croc emboss on the panels, smooth grained leather on the handles, the front belt and every trim edge. That contrast is what stops it reading flat in daylight.
The hardware. A polished gold turn-lock set on a beveled plate, flanked by two rounded keepers on the front belt. Gold snap hooks on the strap, gold feet underneath.
The edges. Every cut edge is hand-painted and sealed in deep brown, including the inside of the handles. This is the part cheap bags skip, and it's the first part to crack when they do.
It actually holds a day. 29cm across and 13cm deep, so an iPad and a slim notebook go in flat alongside the everyday things. Most bags this structured make you choose.
It holds its shape. Firm body, flat base, protective gold feet. It sits upright on a table or on the floor by your chair whether it's full or empty.
Two ways to carry
Short rolled top handles for the hand or the forearm. A slim adjustable shoulder strap that unclips completely when you don't want it.
